Revelstoke Watercolour Workshop: Waterfalls

Join me for an afternoon of landscape watercolour painting outside at one of Revelstoke's beautiful waterfalls! Painting outdoors is a great way to slow down and connect to the scene you're immersed in. This can also create a fun challenge as you work to capture the ever changing light and shadows of the scene before you. Whether you've never picked up a paint brush before or have some painting experiece, people of all painting skills and styles are welcome! In this workshop you'll learn how to compose a scene, mix colours, capture light and shadows, and various painting techniques. With the waterfall theme of this specific class, we'll also focus on how to capture the dymnamic movement of water with paint and various pens. You'll get a blend of group instruction/demonstration and plenty of time to get one-on-one instruction as you move through the process. You can choose to have all painting materials supplied, which can be taken home at the end of the course, or to bring your own! Only 10 spots available.
