Revelstoke Watercolour Workshop: Wildflowers

Join me for an afternoon of watercolour painting wildflowers outside! Painting outdoors is a great way to slow down and connect to the scene you're immersed in. This can also create a fun challenge as you work to capture the ever changing light and shadows of the scene before you. Whether you've never picked up a paint brush before or have some painting experiece, people of all painting skills and styles are welcome! In this workshop you'll learn how to compose a scene, mix colours, capture light and shadows, and various painting techniques. With the wild flower theme of this specific class, we'll also focus on how to capture the details and perspective of flowers with paint and various pens. You'll get a blend of group instruction/demonstration and plenty of time to get one-on-one instruction as you move through the process. You can choose to have all painting materials supplied,…
